Ask Penny Campaign Proposal and Strategy // Fair Work Ombudsman

Wage theft is one of Australia's most pervasive and debilitating issues within our national workforce, particularly for young workers (under 30s) and migrant workers. Ask Penny is a campaign proposal that endeavours to influence change amongst Australia’s current workplace culture, practices and standards. The campaign launch runs parallel with the launch of the Penny app; your paymate. Developed to be your friend, confidant and advice-giver on wage-related issues, this app aims to support both employees and employers and is backed by the Fair Work Ombudsman and their data. Ultimately, the goal is for Penny to be a catalyst for open conversations on wage theft to reduce its incidence
and normalisation in Australia’s workforce.
